Lloyd Berg is a board certified clinical health psychologist and associate professor of psychiatry at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin. His specialties include hospital consultation-liaison practice and conducting research on musician mental health in Austin, the Live Music Capital of the World. He is a past board chair of the SIMS Foundation and established their clinical advisory panel.
Lloyd received his bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s and doctorate in counseling psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. He is past president of the American Academy of Clinical Health Psychology and his honors include the Outstanding Contributions to Clinical Health Psychology Award from the American Psychological Association’s Society for Health Psychology.
